Fossil Springs Senior Helps Teen Job Seekers

Nikita Tejwani, a 17-year-old senior at Brandeis High School, started Caly Cares because she wanted to use something I had built to make a positive difference in my own community.

Through Caly Cares, she provides free career-support workshops where students and job seekers can get hands-on help finding suitable opportunities, improving their resumes, preparing for interviews, organizing applications, and understanding what to do next. There is no charge to participants.

She has already had the opportunity to work with SA Youth and Girls Inc., and recently presented the program to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, which encouraged me to connect with Workforce Solutions Alamo. Her personal goal now is to reach and help at least 200 students and job seekers over the next three months.
