Every Caly Cares workshop is built around one simple, measurable outcome. In a single hour, participants pick a real job they actually want, tailor their resume for that opportunity, and ideally submit the application before leaving.

Ideally, the application goes out before they leave the room.
We measure real action, not just workshop attendance — the goal is that people leave having actually applied, not just having listened.
Our mission
Finding a job can feel confusing and overwhelming. Professional career support is often expensive, or just isn’t available where you live.
Nikita built Calyqen to give job seekers practical support through the whole process, not just a resume template. Caly Cares is how she’s bringing that same support — free — into the community.
Provide free AI-supported career guidance to students, first-time job seekers, and people who can’t easily access professional career coaching.
Initial goal
Help 300 students and job seekers improve their resumes, prepare for interviews, and navigate their job searches by end of 2026.
Currently seeking pilot partners
Schools, libraries, nonprofits, workforce programs, youth organizations, faith communities, and neighborhood groups interested in hosting a free pilot workshop.
What a Caly Cares workshop may include
The core hour is always the same: pick a real job, tailor a resume for it, and — ideally — submit the application. Around that core, a workshop may also cover:

✓Preparing for common interview questions
✓Practicing interview responses
✓Organizing job applications and next steps
✓Writing thoughtful follow-up messages

Meet Nikita
Nikita Tejwani is a 17-year-old San Antonio high school student and the founder of Calyqen.
She built Calyqen after watching her mom juggle separate tools for resumes, applications, interview prep, and follow-ups — and decided one supportive experience should be able to carry someone through the whole search.
Caly Cares is her way of bringing that support directly into the community, and learning from the people who need it most.

Caly shows up to every workshop too
Nikita leads the room, but Caly is who each participant actually works with — live, on screen, walking through a real resume or a real practice interview. Caly doesn’t judge a rough first draft, doesn’t get impatient, and never invents experience someone doesn’t have.
