From Nikita’s media brief · September 2026
Helping people take the next step
At 17, Nikita built two free tools from problems she saw in her own family.
When Nikita Tejwani watched her mother manage a job search across resumes, applications and interviews, she started asking what would make the process easier. When she and her sister faced scattered scholarship information and missed deadlines, she saw another problem to solve. Nikita, a senior at Brandeis High School, turned those questions into Calyqen AI and Meriqen AI. Both tools are free and in beta.
Calyqen AI
Career support for job seekers
Caly helps people find roles worth considering, tailor an honest resume, practice for interviews and keep track of applications and follow ups.
Meriqen AI
Scholarship support for students
Meri helps students find fitting scholarships, check official award sources, organize applications and remember deadlines. Students review and submit their own work.
Caly Cares in the community
At two SA Youth SOAR workshops, 49 participants submitted 31 real job applications. Nikita also led a free job search workshop with BiblioTech Public Library in September. Her goal is to help 300 people through Caly Cares by the end of 2026.
The story to share
A student listened to the people closest to her, built practical tools and then brought one of them into community workshops. She is now inviting libraries, schools, nonprofits and community groups to explore free workshops or a Meriqen student pilot. The aim is a concrete next step: an application sent, or a scholarship deadline understood in time.
Available for interviews, demonstrations and community features. Contact Nikita at nikita@calyqen.com.
Workshop figures are from the two SA Youth SOAR sessions; they count submitted applications, not job offers. Figures are as of September 2026. The latest are on the Caly Cares page.
