SHORT BIO
Born and bred in San Antonio, Nikita Tejwani is the 17-year-old founder of Calyqen AI and Caly Cares. A senior at Louis D. Brandeis High School, she builds practical AI tools and leads free career workshops with community organizations. Her work helps students and adult job seekers turn a confusing job search into clear next steps.

FULL BIO
Nikita Tejwani built Calyqen after watching her mother juggle job postings, resumes, applications, and interview preparation across separate tools. The 17-year-old San Antonio student wanted to bring those steps into one supportive experience. She then created Caly Cares to put that support into practice through free workshops with SA Youth and BiblioTech Public Library. Participants work on real opportunities and leave with concrete progress, such as a tailored resume or a submitted application. Nikita has also trained SA Youth staff to continue supporting participants and improved the platform after library staff raised questions about shared computers and privacy. A senior at Louis D. Brandeis High School, she was selected as the school's 2026 DAR Good Citizen. She also created Meriqen, a separate scholarship discovery and planning platform for students.
